Day 01

Marrakech

Arrive in Marrakech and transfer to a traditional riad in the medina. Complete the welcome briefing and full kit check for both the Sahara and Atlas Mountain stages.

Day 02

Enter the Sahara

Travel south through the High Atlas and Draa Valley. Meet the local desert team near Mhamid before walking into the dunes and beginning the first survival session.

Day 03

Desert Survival

Move on foot with minimal equipment while practising navigation, water discipline, shelter-building, leadership and group movement. Continue into night navigation, fire-lighting, weather awareness and Bedouin cooking.

Day 04

Final Desert Challenge

Bring the learned survival skills together through a final team challenge before travelling north through the Draa Valley towards Aït Benhaddou or Ouarzazate.

Day 05

Imlil and Acclimatisation

Enter the High Atlas Mountains and reach Imlil at approximately 1,740 metres. Complete an acclimatisation hike, mountain kit check and altitude briefing.

Day 06

Toubkal Refuge

Trek past Sidi Chamharouch towards the Toubkal Refuge. Main luggage is carried by mules while participants hike with a daypack.

Day 07

Mount Toubkal Summit

Begin before dawn and climb towards the 4,167-metre summit. Descend to the refuge, continue to Imlil and transfer back to Marrakech.

Day 08

Departure

Depending on flight schedules, enjoy free time before your private airport transfer.
